Maias Netball 360 Programme – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Maias Netball 360 Programme (“the Programme”) delivered by Maias Netball. By enrolling a participant in the Programme, the parent/guardian agrees to the terms set out below.

1. Programme Provision

1.1 The Programme is operated by Maias Netball and is designed to support and develop netball skills, gameplay, physical literacy, confidence, and personal growth.
1.2 Sessions are delivered by suitably qualified coaches, led by Level 2 qualified coach, Laura Malcolm.
1.3 The Programme is intended to complement existing club or school netball participation and is not intended to replace those commitments.

2. Eligibility & Registration

2.1 Participants must meet the age or stage requirements for the relevant Programme intake.
2.2 A completed registration form and full payment must be received prior to the participant attending any session.
2.3 Maias Netball reserves the right to refuse participation or remove a participant if information provided during registration is inaccurate or incomplete.

3. Attendance & Conduct

3.1 Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions to gain the full benefit of the Programme.
3.2 No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for non-attendance.
3.3 Participants are expected to demonstrate respectful behaviour, maintain a positive attitude, and follow coach instructions at all times.
3.4 Maias Netball reserves the right to remove a participant from the Programme, without refund, in cases of behaviour deemed unsafe, disruptive, or contrary to the Programme values.

4. Safeguarding & Welfare

4.1 Maias Netball is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
4.2 Parents/guardians must disclose any medical, behavioural, or additional needs that may impact the participant’s involvement prior to the Programme start date.
4.3 Filming or photography by parents/guardians during sessions is not permitted unless explicitly authorised by the Programme Lead for safeguarding purposes.
4.4 Parents/guardians remain responsible for the participant before arrival and after the session end time. Participants must be collected promptly.

5. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

5.1 Payment for the full Programme is required to secure a place and is non-refundable.
5.2 Should Maias Netball cancel the Programme or a session, alternative dates or suitable credit will be offered where reasonably possible.
5.3 If a participant withdraws due to injury or illness, Maias Netball may, at its discretion, offer a credit towards a future Programme; refunds will not be issued.
5.4 Maias Netball accepts no liability for travel, accommodation, or additional costs incurred in relation to the Programme.

6. Health & Safety

6.1 Participants engage in the Programme at their own risk.
6.2 Parents/guardians confirm that the participant is physically fit and able to take part in netball activity.
6.3 Any injuries, incidents, or concerns must be reported to the coach immediately.
6.4 Whilst Maias Netball will take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment, it is not liable for accidental injuries except where caused by negligence of Maias Netball.

7. Media Consent

7.1 Maias Netball may capture photos and/or video footage for training, analysis, marketing, and promotional purposes.
7.2 Media will only be used where parental/guardian consent has been granted.
7.3 Participants will not be named publicly without explicit parental/guardian permission.

8. Communication

8.1 Maias Netball will communicate Programme details, updates, and essential information via the contact details provided at registration.
8.2 It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure contact details remain accurate and up to date.

9. Data Protection

9.1 All personal data will be stored securely and used solely for Programme administration and safeguarding purposes.
9.2 Data will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with prior consent.

10. Additional Services

10.1 Participants not selected, unable to attend, or wishing to receive further development support may be offered additional services including, but not limited to:
• 1:1 coaching sessions
• Virtual training services
• Future Programme trials, sessions, or clinics
10.2 These services may be subject to separate terms and fees.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By completing registration and submitting payment, the parent/guardian confirms that they:
• Have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions
• Consent to the participant taking part in the Programme
• Accept associated risks in accordance with Section 6

12. Trial & Selection Process

12.1 Trial attendance does not guarantee a place on the Programme.
12.2 Selection decisions are final and made at the discretion of Maias Netball.
12.3 Feedback will not be provided to athletes who are not selected following a trial, in order to maintain consistency, fairness, safeguarding, and coach capacity.
12.4 Athletes who are not offered a place may be invited to join alternative development opportunities provided by Maias Netball (e.g., 1:1 coaching, Virtual Netball PT or future trials).
12.5 Athletes not selected will be placed on a “Watch List” for future consideration. The athlete may:
• Be contacted if a place becomes available during the running Programme
• Receive early access to future Programmes
• Be invited to selected sessions at a later date
