360 Masterclass Trials

Join our U14 masterclass session to get coached, challenged, and noticed. This isn’t a match-play trial. It’s your chance to develop your skills, receive feedback, and show how you respond under elite coaching. Perfect for athletes ready to take their netball to the next level! Please note that we will not take late triallist this time round.

360 Programme (U14’s)

Our six week programme offers a focused, small-group/ solo training environment, where every player gets plenty of attention and feedback. The overall aim is to help players develop their netball knowledge, court craft, apply skills in game situations and to help accelerate athletes on their netball journeys. The programme includes:

  • Small group training

  • Matchplay feedback

  • Positional-specific training

  • 1-on-1 coach meeting

  • 1-2 training session (matched up depending on session focus)

  • Individual feedback to help accelerate athletes on their netball journeys.

DATES: 2nd (online), 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th January, 6th, 13th or 20th February. 90 Minute sessions between 6pm-9pm (exact time tbc)

FAQs

  • The 360 Programme is a six week small group/ solo development environment (maximum 16 players per session) aimed at improving netball knowledge, court craft, positional skills, game application and to support personal netball journeys.

  • It is designed for committed athletes (in the U14 age group, per the current schedule) who are looking to take their netball to the next level: learn, develop and respond to elite-style coaching.

  • The programme includes:

    • Small group training sessions

    • Match-play feedback

    • Positional-specific training

    • 1-on-1 coach meetings

    • 1-2 training sessions (paired/individual focus)

    • Individual feedback for each athlete.

  • The sessions are held at OLSC, Old Fallings Ln, Wolverhampton, WV10 8BL.

    There are a mixture of online and in-person sessions: 2nd Jan (online) then 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th Jan and Feb 6th, 13th or 20th.

    Sessions are 90 minutes sessions between 6pm-9pm (exact time tbc)

  • Before the programme, there is a masterclass style trial session (no match play) where all athletes get coached and challenged by Laura. Selection into the programme is based on whole athlete attributes e.g. how you respond to feedback, how you work with others, your attitude, potential, and skill.

  • Due to limited spaces, not all athletes will be offered a place each intake.

    If your child isn’t selected:

    • No individual feedback is provided to ensure fairness and consistency.

    • They may be placed on our Watch List and could be invited to join later if a space becomes available. This may even be for a one off session.

    • We’ll share details of other development options, such as 1–1 Coaching, Virtual Netball PT, and future clinics or Programmes.

    Not being selected this time doesn’t rule out future opportunities with Maias Netball.

  • Because this is a focused, small-group programme with personal feedback and intensive sessions, athletes should commit to attend each of the scheduled sessions, engage actively, bring effort, respond to feedback.

    There is only one trial date for each court area and we will not be taking on late triallists.

  • Registration is via the trial/masterclass session booking. After the trial, selected athletes will be invited to join the 360 programme.

  • Players should bring appropriate sports clothing and footwear, a netball (trials only), water/hydration. They should arrive ready to go!

  • At the end of the six weeks, each athlete receives individual feedback and has had multiple training experiences in team and positional contexts.

  • While every effort is made to accommodate all athletes, the nature of the small-group programme means attendance is important. Missing sessions may compromise the full benefit of the programme. Please contact us in advance if you anticipate absence so that we can bring in players to fill your spot.
